“It’s still surreal to me that he’s on the same team as his dad. And I get to be a part of it and witness each and every practice, each game, each moment that they have for at least his first year,” Davis said.

Anthony Davis Focuses on Health and Team Goals for the Lakers’ Comeback Season

Anthony Davis is entering the upcoming season with a strong focus on health and consistency. After experiencing one of the healthiest seasons of his career, Davis claimed that staying on the court is more important to him than individual accolades.

“Staying healthy and staying on the floor. Individual accolades are great, but that’s not my focus,” Davis said during the team’s media day.

Davis ended the last season averaging 24.7 points per game, 12.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.3 blocks. His strong defensive skills earned him a spot as the fourth runner-up in the Defensive Player of the Year voting.
