The former New York Rangers goaltender and current hockey analyst, Martin Biron, has indeed just floated a major trade proposal between the Canadiens and the Rangers.

Trouba, aged 30, is a 6-foot-3, 212-pound defenseman. He was a first-round pick of the Winnipeg Jets in 2012 (9th overall) and has recorded 6 points in 20 games this season, with 17 penalty minutes and a positive plus-minus of +1.

Over his career in the NHL, he has tallied 315 points in 768 games, including a 50-point season in 2019.
