COLEEN Rooney has revealed husband Wayne’s secret gesture days after her I’m A Celebrity exit and his sacking.

The busy mum-of-four took part in last year’s series of the reality show and quickly became an overnight fan-favourite.

Coleen, 38, narrowly missed out on being crowned the queen of the jungle to McFly’s Danny Jones.

While her sons flew out to Australia to meet her after her jungle stint, Wayne was at home fighting to save his job as manager at Plymouth Argyle.

But in a sweet gesture, Wayne was waiting for Coleen when she returned to their Cheshire mansion – taking a day off work for her.

Wayne then left home for his former job at 5am the next day.

Speaking to MailOnline, she explained: “It was just a quick hello and well done because he was in Plymouth at the time so he had that day off which was nice but he literally came home, we had a catch up and obviously the boys were all in the mix and then he left at like 5 the next morning to go back.

“But over Christmas we done a few things and it was nice because I had time then to meet up with friends and we went out as couples.”

Former Manchester United player Wayne was sacked by Plymouth in December after the team fell to the bottom of the Championship.

In the same interview, Coleen revealed the success to their long-lasting relationship despite it being long-distance at times.

“It’s been difficult over the years because we’ve lived away from each other and stuff but we always try and do a date night so it’s been nice having him back and nice him coming here to support and be here.”

Meanwhile, Wayne was seen supporting his wife Coleen at the launch of her new wellness range last week.

She was the woman of the hour at Liverpool ONE shopping centre on as she attended the launch of her new range with Applied Nutrition.

Wayne, 39, sported a new look, having shaved off the shaggy beard he had during his time at Plymouth.

She’s usually preened and perfect – but the WAG has confessed she snores.

Coleen said: “I didn’t think I snored, but Wayne says I snore.

“Not continuously though – just every now and again.

“I have been in the public eye for over 20 years now and people take what they want from it.

“I do think people will get a better idea of what kind of person I am.”
