RUTH Langsford has reportedly issued ex-husband Eamonn Holmes a “final warning” after he moved out of their Surrey home.
Friends have claimed she is desperate to cut ties after they confirmed their separation in May.
They told Bella magazine: “Ruth doesn’t want him to feel like he can pop back and forth when he likes to grab bits.
“She wants a clean slate and has even told friends she might change the locks.”
The Sun has contacted Ruth’s representative for comment.
The Loose Women star was revealed to have split from Eamonn, 64 ealier this year.
She has not spoken out after returning to the ITV show earlier this month following a break.
It is understood that Ruth decided to split from Eamonn after being left devastated when she found messages to another woman on his computer.
The broadcasting veteran has since been spotted out and about with Katie Alexander, 42.
Ruth hinted she has been keeping up to date on reports after sharing a picture of The Sun on her coffee table, that featured a front cover interview with Katie’s ex George Alexander.
He confessed he had “a lot of sympathy” for Ruth amid her marriage breakdown.
George, 53, who was married to Katie from 2010 to 2022, said: “I have a lot of sympathy for Ruth.
“I have had my heart broken when my marriage to Katie ended.
“It took me a couple of years to recover. I know how distraught Ruth must be feeling. She’s going through what I did after our marriage ended.”
And he added: “Katie has a heart so will feel bad about Ruth.”
Businessman George said Katie and Eamonn first made contact as friends on social media while they were still married.
He went on: “She was not swooning over him like he was George Clooney.
“But she liked being on social media and one day she said she’d had a reply from him.”
There is no suggestion from George that Katie’s contact with Eamonn led to the breakdown of their marriage, and he accepts they parted amicably.
In June, The Sun on Sunday reveled Loose Women host Ruth confided to close friends that there was “no way back” for their 14-year marriage.
The following month Ruth made her return to Loose Women after taking time off from the show in the wake of her marriage split.
Rumors have been swirling about the future of Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes following their separation earlier this year. Recent reports suggest that Ruth has given Eamonn a “final warning” after he moved out of their Surrey home.
It seems that Ruth is determined to sever all ties with her ex-husband and start fresh. Friends close to the couple have mentioned that Ruth doesn’t want Eamonn to come and go as he pleases, and she is even considering changing the locks on their former home.
Since returning to ITV’s Loose Women, Ruth has kept mum about the details of her split from Eamonn.
However, it’s been revealed that she was heartbroken to discover messages to another woman on his computer, which ultimately led to their separation. Rumors have been circulating about Eamonn’s friendship with Katie Alexander, who is reportedly the ex-wife of George Alexander. George has expressed sympathy for Ruth, acknowledging the pain of a broken marriage.
While there is no indication that Katie played a role in the end of Ruth and Eamonn’s marriage, it has been suggested that she and Eamonn initially connected through social media while both were still married. George clarified that Katie was not pursuing Eamonn romantically, but simply enjoyed engaging with others online.
It’s been reported that Ruth confided in close friends that there is no chance of reconciling with Eamonn after 14 years of marriage. Despite the difficulties she has faced, Ruth has remained poised and professional, returning to her hosting duties on Loose Women. Fans and followers of Ruth are eager to see how she navigates this challenging time in her personal life while maintaining her successful career.
