Ruth Langsford has been taking to social media to share a series of snaps since she and Eamonn Holmes announced their split

Ruth Langsford appears to be sending “subtle hints” at Eamonn Holmes and his “alleged new partner,” sources close to the TV personality say.

Since announcing their split, 64 year old Ruth has taken to Instagram with photos of herself taking strolls, enjoying brunches, and visiting the hair salon.

Meanwhile, Eamonn, also 64, is said to have struck up a bond with 42 year old Katie Alexander.

Revealing details to Bella magazine, an insider claimed that Ruth learns about updates regarding Eamonn and Katie through media reports, having first become aware of their closeness when Katie was snapped in Eamonn’s Range Rover back in July, reports the Mirror.

The informant confided to Bella: “She’s posting subtle hints towards them. It’s her way of sticking two fingers up at them.”

Ruth reportedly aims to “draw a line” beneath her marriage saga with Eamonn, even though she was recently seen still sporting her wedding ring on shopping network QVC last Friday.

The Bella insider said: “Ruth doesn’t want him to think he can come and go as he pleases to pick things up. She’s after a fresh start and has intimated to pals she might even change the locks.”

This all unfolds while Eamonn takes a temporary step back from his regular presenting duties on GB News, although he assured viewers he was merely off for annual leave and would be back “next week”.

Additionally, Ruth hinted that maintaining a post-split amicable relationship with Eamonn may not be in the cards. In conversation with pop sensation Sinitta, she contrasted their situation with Sinitta’s friendly terms with ex Simon Cowell. Ruth admitted: “Not everyone can do that.”

Eamonn, despite their 14-year marriage coming to an end, reportedly expressed a desire to maintain a friendly relationship with Ruth. However, he admitted it might be “too soon” to predict.

Katie’s former husband, George Alexander, extended his sympathies to Ruth in an interview with The Sun. He confessed that the end of his own marriage left him “heartbroken”.

He revealed that it took “years” for him to recover from the separation. He further stated: “She’s going through what I did after our marriage ended.”

Ruth’s representatives have been contacted by The Mirror for a comment.

In the midst of her split from Eamonn Holmes, Ruth Langsford continues to make headlines with her social media activity.

The 64-year-old TV personality has been sharing glimpses of her life post-breakup, with sources close to her suggesting that she may be subtly referencing Eamonn and his rumored new partner, Katie Alexander.

Since the announcement of their separation, Ruth has been active on Instagram, posting photos of herself out and about, enjoying leisurely walks, brunch outings, and pampering sessions at the hair salon.

On the other hand, Eamonn, also 64, has reportedly grown closer to 42-year-old Katie, with whom he has been spotted spending time.

According to an insider speaking to Bella magazine, Ruth has been keeping tabs on Eamonn’s activities through media reports, particularly after photos surfaced of Katie in Eamonn’s Range Rover back in July. The source shared that Ruth is using her social media posts as a way to subtly signal her thoughts on the situation, possibly as a way to assert her independence and move on from her marriage.

Despite being seen wearing her wedding ring on a recent QVC appearance, Ruth is said to be looking to close this chapter of her life definitively.

The insider revealed that she is considering changing the locks on their shared home to signify a fresh start and prevent Eamonn from freely coming and going.

Meanwhile, Eamonn has taken a brief hiatus from his presenting duties on GB News, citing annual leave as the reason for his absence.

He assured viewers that he would return shortly, but sources indicate that his relationship with Ruth may not be as amicable as some had hoped.

Ruth herself hinted at the challenges of maintaining a friendly relationship post-split in a conversation with Sinitta, acknowledging that not everyone can navigate that path successfully.

In a surprising twist, Katie’s ex-husband, George Alexander, offered his sympathies to Ruth in a recent interview with The Sun. He shared his own experience of heartbreak following his divorce, expressing his support for Ruth during this difficult time.

George emphasized the emotional toll of a breakup, noting that it took him years to fully recover. As the media frenzy around Ruth and Eamonn’s split continues, fans are left wondering about the future of their relationship.
