Nick Ferrari brought Tuesday’s instalment of This Morning to a halt after ‘walking off set’ in the middle of a segment for a revolting reason.
It came just minutes after he made a shocking sex confession during the discussion topics part of This Morning’s View with presenters Cat Deeley, 48, Ben Shephard, 50, and Sayeeda Warsi, 53.
Cat, Ben, Sayeeda and Nick were discussing if they thought that the need to go to the toilet is contagious
During the chat, it was pointed out if you’re on the motorway and your partner pulls up at a service station to go to the loo, you usually follow them.
Politician Sayeeda said: ‘Of course it’s contagious. But apparently Nick doesn’t have those urges.
‘So clearly he’s evolved way beyond this…’
Nick Ferrari brought This Morning to a halt on Tuesday when he went to the toilet mid segment
The 65-year-old got up out of his seat and told his co-stars he needed to use the toilet
Nick then downed some water and said: ‘Oh actually… I might have had a little bit too much.’
As Nick got up from his chair he said: ‘I’ve got to go. I’ve got to go, I’m serious.’
He then put his leg on his chair and added: ‘It’s quite the battle. I have to wear these bloody things – long johns because I’m on a motor bike!’
The journalist then stood up, shook his co-stars hands and headed to the toilet.
Earlier on in the segment the group discussed the pros and cons of working at home versus in the office.
Nick admitted that physically going in was instrumental when he was early on in his career – and that now young people are missing out.
Nick confessed: ‘I would never have had a date if I hadn’t gone to the work place. I wouldn’t have met the mother of my children. I wouldn’t have met my fiancée!
The journalist shook Ben, Cat and Sayeeda’s hands before heading off set
‘I’d have never had sex! Which is possibly a good thing.’
Ben replied: ‘In the office?!’
Nick joked: ‘Well… Maybe the one…’
The conversation definitely got people talking on X.
One said on the social media platform: ‘I work from home 2/3 times a week, on those days I work a productive 8-9 hour day as opposed to losing the best part of 4 hours to a commute #thismorning.’
Another added: ‘The constant bashing of people working from home needs to stop. Many can’t go into the office because of health reasons. Or their office is located in another part of the country.’
‘As of Monday I’m working from home full-time as we decided to ditch our office. Love it – as it means I get to see my newborn grow-up daily #ThisMorning,’ a third chimed in.
A fourth added: ‘There’s nothing wrong with working from home, the same goes for working in the office. It’s worth remembering that the push for WFH originated during the pandemic. Since then, however, many have developed a sense of entitlement, treating it as if it’s their right.’
