A disgruntled tourist has taken aim at Katie Price, saying the star ruined their stay at a five star hotel in Turkey.
The former glamour model, 46, took residence at the £133 per-night Sheraton Ataköy Hotel in Istanbul to recover from her sixth face lift.
Holiday goers said they were unable to relax when Katie arrived because they were so shocked by her appearance.
One tourist slammed the television personality for using the pool with ‘staples holding their scalp on and incisions weeping with pus’ in a review on Trip Advisor.
Katie returned to the UK on Thursday evening where she was arrested at Heathrow after failing to attend a court bankruptcy hearing.
Earlier this week, Katie was pictured at the hotel looking bruised and bloodied with surgical tape held taut on the side of her face with wounds by her ears visible.
The two star review read: ‘We’re here at the moment and couldn’t fault this wonderful hotel until an infamous British celebrity and her entourage arrived and our opinion changed dramatically.
‘Who wants to relax and dine at a hotel looking at someone with blood all over their face, staples holding their scalp on and incisions weeping with pus.
‘Oh and she used the swimming pool as well… I’m not sure this hotel should be used as a recovery facility for plastic surgery.
‘It’s certainly put me off both visiting again and recommending it to anyone.’
MailOnline has contacted Katie’s representatives for comment.
Katie was arrested upon her arrival in the UK at Heathrow Airport.
Pictures showed her being taken away in a police van with her head covered in bandages and black tape after the surgery.
She will be remanded in custody and appear in court on Friday.
Katie’s arrest meant her boyfriend JJ Slater, who also flew with her to Turkey along with her son Harvey, 22, was left to pick up her bags.
Confirming her arrest, a Metropolitan Police spokesperson told MailOnline: ‘A 46-year-old woman from Surrey was arrested at Heathrow Airport at 7.45hrs on Thursday, 8 August for failing to appear at court.
‘She has been remanded in custody at a west London police station to appear at the Royal Courts of Justice tomorrow, Friday, 9 August.’
The TV star was aware she would be detained at the airport but had asked police that they ‘allow some dignity and protection’ for Harvey claiming it would be ‘extremely disturbing for him to see’.
Earlier in the day, Katie acknowledged she will be arrested after failing to appear in front of a judge last Tuesday as a part her £760,000 bankruptcy court proceedings.
In a statement posted to Instagram, the mum-of-five claimed she had been in Turkey filming a documentary.
She said on return from work, she would be ‘detained at the airport’ which is what the ‘courts feel is necessary.’
Discussing her son Harvey, 22, who is with her in Turkey, Katie asked they ‘allow some dignity and protection for at least his sake as this will be extremely disturbing for him to see’.
While acknowledging the ‘severity’ of the matter, Katie said she was being treated ‘like a criminal’ and declared the ‘unfortunate financial circumstance’ did not make her a ‘criminal or bad person’.
Defiantly, the former model said she was ‘not embarrassed or ashamed’ regarding the arrest.
She explained her bankruptcy was due to ‘serious mental health issues and breakdowns from PTSD’.
She added she would be paying back debtors and hoped for ‘Harvey’s sake it’s handled with care and compassion’.
A judge at a previous hearing said Price risked arrest if she did not attend further court dates, adding evidence must be provided if she could not appear.
Issuing the arrest warrant, Judge Burton said she had ‘failed to attend today’s hearing’ and had provided no explanation for her absence.
She said: ‘It is in my judgment necessary that the court issue a warrant for Ms Price’s arrest.
‘She has no real excuse in failing to attend today’s hearing.’
She continued: ‘The reason for her absence today is irrelevant.’
Judge Burton said that an arrest warrant was not issued ‘lightly’ but that Price had offered only ‘piecemeal co-operation’ and failed to provide the ‘most basic information’ in relation to her bankruptcies.
Previously, Katie was served an eviction notice that ordered her to leave her Mucky Mansion by the end of May and has since moved into a £5,000 per month new Tudor-style property.
Katie was declared bankrupt for a second time in March over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05 after first being declared bankrupt in 2019.
However, at the end of July she claimed ‘everything is sorted’ with her second bankruptcy after being evicted from her Sussex bolthole.
Katie flew to Turkey on 29 July, sharing a snap of her on a plane just hours before her court hearing the day after.
Katie – whose £2million ‘mucky mansion’ was recently repossessed – was joined on the jaunt by pal Lou Anderson.
She also jetted away with Married at First Sight star and boyfriend JJ, 31.
Katie is understood to have had the face lift at the Trio Clinic in Istanbul, with work being carried out on her eyes and under her chin.
She also underwent another dental procedure, sharing pictures of her new veneers on Wednesday.
On Instagram, she posted snaps of her new dental work, wearing sunglasses with the name of the dental surgery ‘Dentica’ on.
Katie was also seen in Istanbul with son Harvey, revealing her latest surgically enhanced looks in a pair of oversized sunglasses, which did little to hide the bandages, staples and surgical tape around her face.
Taking on Instagram last Wednesday, Katie dismissed recent claims that she has travelled to Turkey after being turned down by other cosmetic surgeons.
She said: ‘I’m filming my new documentary. The reason I’ve chose the Trio Clinic is because I’ve had friends who have had surgery there and in my opinion they are the best for what I want doing.
‘I can’t wait, they’re amazing, and they’re thorough here.’
Last Tuesday, Katie shared a statement on her Instagram account saying she is ‘aware of the severity’ of her financial situation.
