Angelina Jolie is no longer interested in talking about the former Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
Jolie, 49, recently declined to comment when asked about her ex Brad Pitt, 60, on their ongoing divorce.
According to the Hollywood Reporter on Friday, when reporter Rebecca Keegan said to the “Maleficent” star:
“May I ask what the status of your divorce is?” during an interview with Jolie, she simply answered, “No.”
and the work spoke. Now, the audience’s relationship is different. I’m trying to get used to what to share.”
The interview was conducted in mid-August at Jolie’s home in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Los Feliz.
Jolie and Pitt have been locked in a contentious divorce since the actress filed in 2016, which includes fighting over custody of their children, division of assets and their legal battle over the sale of their French winery.
The exes share three biological children, Shiloh, 18, and 16-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. Jolie and Pitt also adopted three children: sons Maddox, 23, and Pax, 20, and daughter Zahara, 19.
“I grew up in this town. I am here because I have to be here from a divorce, but as soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave,” Jolie revealed.
“When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety. I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be … that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here.”
Jolie also touched on where she wants to go after Los Angeles.
“I’ll spend a lot of time in Cambodia,” she went on. “I’ll spend time visiting my family members wherever they may be in the world.”
Jolie and Pitt’s divorce and family drama continues to make headlines, as daughter Shiloh made a legal request to drop her father’s surname recently.
A judge signed off on legally changing the teenager’s name from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie on Aug. 19, per a court ruling obtained by TMZ.
There was no formal hearing, with the outlet noting that the petition was simply granted for Shiloh.
The dancer filed her petition on her 18th birthday to distance herself from the “Bullet Train” star, and she used her own money to pay for an attorney.
“Shiloh hired her own lawyer and paid for it herself, so Angie doesn’t know and can’t speak for it,” an insider told Entertainment Tonight.
Shiloh is following in her sibling’s footsteps, who have also removed themselves from Pitt’s life in recent years.
Zahara was the first of the kids to make the change last November. She introduced herself as “Zahara Marley Jolie” during an induction ceremony at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia.
Earlier this year, Vivienne was listed as “Vivienne Jolie” in the Playbill for the Broadway production of “The Outsiders,” which she co-produced with Jolie.
Earlier this month, Jolie’s father, actor Jon Voight, urged Pitt to “make peace” with his daughter.
“You know, I think the kids need some stability,” Voight, 85, told Fox News Digital. “I love the kids, and I love my daughter. And I want Brad to step up to do, you know, what he has to do. End this nonsense.”
Jolie and Pitt started dating after starring in the 2005 action comedy “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” together.
The pair officially married in 2014 before splitting two years later in 2016. The “Eternals” actress filed for divorce following an altercation on a plane with the kids present.
