Christine Lampard had to step in and issue an apology to Loose Women viewers as Linda Robson swore during her interview
Linda Robson joined stand-in Lorraine host Christine Lampard on Friday to discuss a number of topics including her dream soap role, family life and supporting NHS workers.
But the host had to issue an apology when Linda revealed which soap she most wanted to work on.
Christine remarked: “There’s one thing on the list and it’s EastEnders isn’t it?”
“Oh yeah, I did do one wartime one Sibby Street years ago, I played Lou Bill’s sister Flo Bill but I have hinted a few times that even a little cameo role or whatever but I’d love to play a real b***h,” Linda replied.
Linda Robson scolded as she swears live on Lorraine and asks ‘is that a bad word?’
Christine began laughing as Linda continued: “Or someone really nasty because I always get light parts.”
The host cut in: “You know it’s a funny thing because I thought, she knows it’s early morning, she’s not allowed to swear for me and you just let a little one slip so I’m sorry if no one likes that word.”
“What the B word?” asked Linda, as Christine scolded: “Don’t say any other words!”
The Loose Women host replied: “I didn’t realise it was a bad word,” as Christine explained they often had to tell her not to swear on Loose Women.

Linda’s appearance comes after she opened up on Loose Women co-star Ruth Langsford’s split from Eamonn Holmes.
Speaking at the National Reality TV Awards, she told OK!: “We’re staying out of it because it’s not our business but we’re supporting her in any way we can and just keeping her happy. It’s sad for the both of them but just keeping her spirits high.”
Ruth returned to hosting duties on Loose Women last month but failed to address the split live on air.
Christine Lampard found herself in a bit of a sticky situation recently when Linda Robson accidentally let a swear word slip during their interview.
The Loose Women host had to quickly step in and issue an apology to viewers for the unexpected language. Despite the slip-up, Linda and Christine continued their conversation about Linda’s dream soap role and her desire to play a more villainous character.
Linda revealed that she had once appeared in a wartime soap called Sibby Street, where she played Lou Bill’s sister Flo Bill.
However, she expressed her eagerness to take on a more challenging role, describing her desire to play a “real b***h.” Christine jokingly reminded Linda that she was on morning television and shouldn’t be using such language, prompting Linda to question whether the word was inappropriate.
In addition to discussing her soap aspirations, Linda also touched on her support for NHS workers and her family life. She shared her admiration for the healthcare professionals who have been working tirelessly during the pandemic and emphasized the importance of staying positive and supporting one another during challenging times.
