Caitlin Clark and her Indiana Fever trio join an extremely exclusive list

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever have been performing great since the international break ended. They have clinched a spot in the playoffs despite having a disastrous 2-8 start to the 2024-25 WNBA season. This comeback can be credited equally to all the Fever players who adapted to the dire situation and leveled up their game.

Especially the trio of Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell has been one of the best performers in the entire league. Together, they are a dominant force on the court and are responsible for closing out the majority of wins for their team. With their 104-100 victory over the Atlanta Fever on Sunday, the Fever trio entered an exclusive stat club with those of the Las Vegas Aces.

Per StatMamba, Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell became only the third trio in WNBA history to record 20+ points in consecutive games. Aces stars A’ja Wilson, Chelsea Gray, Kelsey Plum and Jackie Young have been the only ones to do it before them.

Erica Wheeler and Caitlin Clark praise Aliyah Boston after her spectacular performance against the Dream

The Indiana Fever picked up their 19th win of the season against the Atlanta Dream in a thrilling game that went to overtime and ended in the Fever’s favor with a final score of 104-100.

After the game, Wheeler, Boston and Clark were heading back to the locker room when they expressed their views on the game. The Indiana Fever X account uploaded the video on their social media handle.

“Two words, Aliyah Boston, baby!” Wheeler said.

“AB’s a dawg. She’s all over the glass, came up with the clutch buckets, tied it for us, solid in overtime. She’s just different,” Clark said.

Although Boston had the most impressive performance of the night, Clark also made a huge contribution to the game. She scored an insane 3-pointer that had Indiana Pacers star guard Tyrese Haliburton, who was in attendance, let out a rousing reaction.

Moreover, Caitlin Clark provided 12 assists, securing another double-double for the night. She is currently the leading assists provider in the WNBA, averaging 8.5 assists per game, eclipsing the second-place assists provider, Connecticut Sun forward Alyssa Thomas (7.7 assists per game), by a wide margin.
