The Miami Dolphins ended their season last Sunday with an ugly loss to the New York Jets, and it only got worse when Tyreek Hill decided he was done playing for the team in more ways than one.

Hill finished the 2024 season well under the star production he’s used to. This seemed to weigh on him, along with the fact that the team was not postseason bound, which he had never had to deal with before.

Things have only gotten worse.

A new video from Sunday’s game against the New York Jets highlights the exact moment when his teammates realized he had quit on them.

Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle yelled out to Tyreek Hill, “Hey Cheetah, you done?”

He even walked to the sidelines to get confirmation that he was done playing in the game while they were down 18-6.

Hill caught two passes for 20 yards before exiting the game in the fourth quarter.

As we all saw, Hill basically made it clear that he wanted out of the franchise.

After reworking his deal last year, the 30-year-old remains under contract for the next two seasons.

Dolphins Coach Mike McDaniel Suggested Tyreek Hill Quit On The Team

Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel and star wideout Tyreek Hill are not on the same page.

After their Week 18 contest, both had differing stories about why the receiver didn’t play in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 32-20 loss to the Jets.

Hill was asked about the matter in the locker room and told reporters he was “dealing with a little issue,” and that “coach kind of pulled me out” of the game.

Once McDaniels spoke to reporters, he stated that Hill was unavailable right before a drive and that he wasn’t informed of a new injury he may have sustained.

“I was informed that he was unavailable right before a drive,” McDaniel said in his postgame press conference. “I was not informed that it was a new injury. And you know, I think at that point in time, my focus was on the players and I didn’t take the time to go and try to figure out more into that. There was guys on the field that were competing, we were trying to win a game, so my focus was there.”
