VIDEO: New Footage Proves The Doubters Wrong After They Claimed Boise State Superstar RB Ashton Jeanty Was Exposed Against “Real Competition”

Everybody in the country wanted to see what Boise State standout running back Ashton Jeanty could do against a top-tier squad at Penn State.

No. 6 seed Penn State became the first team to earn a spot in the College Football Playoff semifinals after their 31-14 win against No. 3 seed Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl on Tuesday night.

Penn State got more big plays from its All-American tight end Tyler Warren than Boise State got from Heisman Trophy runner-up Ashton Jeanty.

In a record-setting campaign that saw him finish second in the Heisman Trophy voting, the Boise State running back had a season-low 104 yards on 30 carries for the third-seeded Broncos.

There were a ton of people who believed he got exposed against real competition.

One piece of video proved that many people were wrong.

 

The video below shows what Ashton Jeanty had to deal with all night. His offensive line was unable to block anybody as they were also dealing with much better players.

Ashton Jeanty Finishes Junior Year With A Season To Remember

Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty’s record-breaking season came up, which was just shy of being an all-time year, but he still had an awesome run.

The Heisman Trophy runner-up finished his junior campaign with 374 carries for 2,601 yards and 30 total touchdowns.

He fell just 28 yards short of breaking Barry Sanders’ FBS single-season rushing record.

Sanders ran for 2,628 yards and 37 touchdowns in 11 games during the 1988 season for Oklahoma State.

Ashon Jeanty, 5 foot 9, 215 pounds, was a two-time Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year who also won the 2024 Maxwell Award and Doak Walker Award.

He was second in the AP Player of the Year voting to Colorado’s Travis Hunter.
