An unlucky female was the recipient of an extremely nasty hit during a college football game on Thursday night, having gotten bowled over by Kansas running back Daniel Hishaw Jr. while standing on the sideline.
The Jayhawks ran out to a blowout win over the Lindenwood Lions on the night, making light work of them in a 48-3 outing.
The Lions could not put up much opposition, so perhaps the highlight of the game came when Daniel Hishaw Jr. inadvertently ran into a woman on the sideline despite his best efforts to brake.
The woman, who was wearing accreditation around her neck, was knocked to the ground, with Hishaw helping her to her feet after the unfortunate collision.
Check it out in the clip right below:
“Damn ouch glad she’s okay,” one fan wrote.
“Targeting,” another claimed.
“She’s gonna feel that one this morning,” someone else predicted.
“Update? Is she in concussion protocol?” a user asked.
“He lowered the shoulder. Then played it off,” someone alleged.
“Feels like the beginning to a beautiful hallmark movie,” a fan added.
This Woman Showed Remarkable Recovery After Getting Hit By Daniel Hishaw Jr.
The woman in question appears to be able to take a hit. She was back on her feet just moments after having a player who’s listed at 220LBS run into her. Most people would have at least rolled around before getting up.
Getting run over is one thing, but having a running back come at you with such momentum while decked out in all his gear is something else altogether.
Despite the heavy hit, she was up on her feet and smiling right after.
She did appear to be okay, but we hope that really was the case, given how hefty that hit was.
