Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill Delivers A Powerful 4-Word Message After Police Released Bodycam Footage Of His Arrest
Miami Dolphins superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill had the perfect four-word response after bodycam footage of his controversial detainment was released to the public.

Tyreek Hill was pulled over and handcuffed by officers of the Miami-Dade Police Department during his commute to Hard Rock Stadium for the Dolphins’ home opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Witnesses captured videos of Hill being placed in handcuffs and taken to the ground.
Hill’s teammate, defensive tackle Calais Campbell, was also briefly detained and handcuffed when he came over to try and de-escalate the situation. Hill was issued two traffic citations, and both players got to the stadium in time before kickoff.
Police bodycam footage of the incident was released on Monday evening. As you can see, the officers acted unnecessarily aggressively towards Hill and other witnesses who came to observe the situation (WARNING: VIDEO CONTAINS LANGUAGE THAT IS NSFW):
After the footage was released, Tyreek Hill took to X/Twitter with a powerful four-letter message that read, “Let’s make a change.”
Miami-Dade Police Department Director Stephanie V. Daniels announced on Sunday that one of the officers who handcuffed Hill was placed on administrative leave. In a separate statement on Monday, Daniels stated that the bodycam footage was released to be transparent with the public.
Hill finished Sunday’s game with seven receptions for 130 yards and a touchdown, including an 80-yard receiving TD. The Dolphins won 20-17 and will next face the Buffalo Bills on Thursday evening.
Tyreek Hill Has Handled The Matter Perfectly
Hill has every reason to be angry and upset about the way the officers handled the situation. But as the bodycam footage shows, he showed no aggression that warranted a) being placed in handcuffs and b) slammed to the ground.
The 30-year-old stayed composed and collected in his post-game press conference. And judging by his X post, it’s clear that Hill would like to use this as an opportunity to help make positive changes.
