A-List Hollywood actor and martial arts expert Jean-Claude Van Damme is coming to Hull.

The legendary Belgian film star, sometimes known by his abbreviated name JCVD or as “The Muscles from Brussels”, will come to the city in October for an unplugged and unscripted evening at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel in Hull city centre.

Jean-Claude is known as one of the most famous action movie stars of all time having appeared in a number of films, including Bloodsport, Lionheart and Kickboxer.

More recently, he has also starred in The Expendables 2 with the likes of Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham, as well as the Kung-Fu Panda film series.

The 57-year-old, who has also directed and produced films, has never been to Hull before and he is excited to meet with fans before revealing intimate details about his life on Saturday, October

Jean-Claude will reveal some of the untold stories about his movies, his incredible career, the stars he has worked with, and his strict health and fitness regime during the Q&A, with audience members invited to ask the film star any burning questions.

The evening has been organised by husband and wife team Jon and Nikki Hilton, who run Pulse Rate Events.

The pair have previously brought boxing sensations Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury to Hull but attracting Jean-Claude is one of their biggest coups yet.

Welsh boxer Joe Calzaghe will also be coming to Hull in August after the Hiltons organised for “The Pride of Wales” to chat with fans at the KCOM Stadium.

Prices for the event with Jean-Claude range from £50 for entry only to £400, which will allow fans the once in a lifetime opportunity to meet and greet the Hollywood celebrity and receive a signed photo of the man himself.
