College Football Fans Think They Know Which Football Program Offered Quinn Ewers $6 Million To Transfer
Texas football quarterback Quinn Ewers is being offered a $6 million NIL deal to enter the transfer portal and play for another team during the 2025 season.
According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Ewers has received a $6 million offer to enter the NCAA transfer portal rather than the NFL draft this spring.
College football is truly in a new day and age as something like this was unheard of just a few years ago.
“Sources told On3 that Ewers has received a $6 million offer to return and enter the portal,” Nakos added.
The report comes as the Longhorns prepare to face the Arizona State Sun Devils in the Peach Bowl on Wednesday to advance to the College Football Playoff semifinals.
Quinn Ewers has been reluctant to discuss his future. He is only focused on his team’s efforts to advance further and win a National Championship.
The only thing we do not know about the $6 million offer, is who it came from.
Fans online are seemingly convinced that Bill Belichick and the North Carolina Tar Heels are behind this offer.
“Belichick does it again .. he’ll probably be a Tar Heel,” one fan said.
Another fan added Miami and Oregon to the mix: “No doubt. Miami, oregon are the obvious answers. I wonder how much UNC has given Belichick to throw around his first year.”
“I wonder who’s tampering! Couldn’t be Bill Belichick – he never has cheated!” a third fan added while alluding to his past actions in the NFL translating to him tampering with Quinn Ewers.
“This is an Ohio St or Belichick U kinda move,” a fourth X user commented.
“That’s Bill Belichick’s music,” one final added.
Quinn Ewers & Arch Manning’s Names Are “Circled And Underlined” For UNC
The Texas Longhorns and the North Carolina Tar Heels are on different paths in the world of NCAA football.
Things could be very different as soon as 2025 after the hiring of Bill Belichick.
A new rumor states that Quinn Ewers and Arch Manning’s names have been “circled and underlined” by the Tar Heels as potential quarterback transfers.
It remains to be seen if either QB makes the move.
