“2nd best”: Hornets Grant Williams puts Caitlin Clark below only WNBA player to win ROTY & MVP
Charlotte Hornets veteran Grant Williams named his best WNBA rookie of all time and it’s not Caitlin Clark. After reports came out claiming that the Indiana Fever young star clinched the 2024 Rookie of the Year award, plenty of people showered her with praise.
DraftKings’ X/Twitter official account shared a graphic with Clark’s stats, saying that CC is the ‘best rookie we’ve ever seen.’ Grant Williams saw this post and responded by predicting positive things for Clark’s career but picking Candace Parker as the best rookie of all time.
“2nd best*. Love her game and she’ll be an MVP when A’ja decides to hang it up but Tennessee legend Candace Parker won ROTY and MVP in the same season.”
