A new massive favorite has emerged to land Las Vegas Raiders superstar wide receiver Davante Adams in a blockbuster trade.

Over the past 24, new hints have indicated that Davante Adams may be on borrowed time in Sin City. In case you missed it, head coach Antonio Pierce was recently caught “liking” this post about Adams on Instagram:

The All-Pro wide receiver then appeared on “Up & Adams” with Kay Adams and was asked about Pierce liking the post. Adams then revealed that he hadn’t “heard from” Pierce and that he was unsure what the deal was on that social media activity.

Amid the ramped-up Davante Adams trade rumors, a new clear-cut front-runner has emerged to land the 31-year-old, according to BetCalifornia. That would be Aaron Rodgers’ New York Jets, now the +400 favorites to land the future Hall of Famer.

The Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys share the second-best odds to land Adams, though they’re distant seconds at +1250. The Pittsburgh Steelers are next at +1750, with the Raiders and the field set at -150.

Through his first three games of the 2024 season, Adams has 18 receptions for 209 yards and one touchdown. Since coming to Vegas in 2022, Adams has racked up 221 receptions for 2,869 yards and 23 touchdowns.

The Raiders (2-2) will try to improve to 3-2 when they visit the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Raiders Need To Trade Davante Adams

The Raiders’ only option is to trade the All-Pro wide receiver while his value is high. Adams turns 32 in December, and his value will only decrease by the time next offseason rolls around.

Las Vegas can’t realistically expect a first-round pick for Adams, but they would surely get at least a second or third-rounder for him. That’s still good value for an ageing and expensive asset who’s falling out of favor in Sin City.
