Las Vegas Raiders superstar wide receiver Davante Adams has fans buzzing after posting a cryptic message on his Instagram story.

On Wednesday evening, Davante Adams posted a photo of himself “waving” goodbye after scoring a game-winning touchdown in a road game against the Denver Broncos. At the bottom of the image, Adams wrote, “This was a fun one.”

That touchdown was an overtime walk-off score against the Denver Broncos in Week 11 of the 2022 season. The timing of the image is random, as the Raiders visit the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday.

Adams has been the subject of trade rumors for a while now. So is he hinting at a trade out of Sin City, or did the 31-year-old just want to take a trip down memory lane on social media for the sake of it? We’ll supposedly find out soon enough.

Last November, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the New York Jets inquired about Davante Adams’ availaiblity ahead of the trade deadline. The Jets landed Adams’ former Green Bay teammate in Aaron Rodgers ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft, so reuniting the super duo made sense for New York.

But according to Schefter, the Raiders told the Jets that they weren’t interested in dealing Adams. The six-time Pro Bowler finished the 2023 season with 103 receptions for 1,144 yards and eight touchdowns.

Davante Adams & Raiders Look To Avoid 0-2 Start

Adams was one of the few positives for the Raiders in their Week 1 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, catching five passes for 59 yards during a rough Vegas debut for quarterback Gardner Minshew II.

The Raiders are in tough against an AFC powerhouse in the Ravens, who will be hungry to avenge last week’s heartbreaking Week 1 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. If the Raiders fall to 0-2, the Davante Adams trade rumors will only continue to heat up.

If he hasn’t been traded by Sunday, that is.
