NFL Fans Convinced Mike Vrabel Has Already Been Offered Head-Coaching Position

The for entirety of the 2024 NFL season, the top candidate to become a head coach in 2025 has been former Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel. With six jobs now vacant, it’s believed that one team is already set to offer him their job.

It's Really Happening' — Patriots Fans Hyped Over Mike Vrabel's Latest Social Media Activity Amid Coaching Rumors

The New England Patriots seeming acted with record-setting speed to satisfy the NFL’s Rooney Rule by interviewing former NFL assistants Pep Hamilton and Byron Leftwich for their vacant head coaching job. Many believe that those interviews were a sham in order for the Patriots to skip to the interview that they REALLY wanted to do.

Lo and behold, on Thursday the Patriots announced that they had completed an interview with Vrabel to be their new head coach.

“We have completed an interview with Mike Vrabel today in Boston for our head coach position,” the team announced.

The mutual interest between Vrabel and the Patriots should be no big shock. Vrabel is a Patriots legend who won three Super Bowls in New England between 2001 and 2008 and is a member of the team’s Hall of Fame.

Combine that with Vrabel’s stellar resume and it seems like a match made in heaven for the Patriots.

Little wonder then that fans in the comments and reposts are already speculating that he’s been offered the job already but just can’t admit so publicly:

“What y’all think… 1…2 or 3 days until they announce he is hired?” one user wondered.

“I’m shocked they haven’t announced he’s hired lol,” wrote another.

“OK it’s been 10 minutes since you posted this, that’s too long already, hire this man ASAP!” a third declared.

“Cut the BS and just say you hired him. We know it’s inevitable even though the majority of fans wanted Ben Johnson,” wrote a fourth.

“Pats can hire him any time since he’s not under contract by a team. It’d be telling if they announce a hire today or tomorrow,” a fifth pointed out.

Something will definitely feel a tad fishy if the Patriots announce before the end of the week that Vrabel is their new head coach.

That said, there’s no guarantee that that’ll be the move.

What do you think? Is Vrabel already a lock to get the job?
