Las Vegas Aces star Kelsey Plum shared a series of images on Instagram as she made a pit stop at the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Taking a hot lap in McLaren’s $237,500 supercar, Plum posted this exhilarating experience on her social media.
The 30-year-old shared images and videos of before and after looks. Plum, who is on WNBA break was able to attend this experience through her sponsorship with Google Pixel and thanked them for this experience, captioning the post:

Driving alongside the Indy 500 driver Pato O’Ward, Plum let him know that she was ‘hyped,’ but as the vehicle hit the 100 MPH zone, the Aces star was holding on to dear life.
Screaming at the top of her lungs, Plum was blown away by the speed but eased into the experience after a short while. In another video, she expressed her thoughts on the hot lap, calling herself a survivor:
“And this is me, a survivor. Oh my gosh, You guys we were like this close to the side. And he’s like do you love it? I’m like, I love it.” joked Kelsey.
The WNBA star went around the F1 circuit in a McLaren Artura, which debuted in 2023 and has since been given two new updates yearly. Launched as a $237,500 vehicle, the 2025 model starts at $254,000 and has been given a 19-hp boost in output.
Kelsey Plum achieves milestone during the WNBA break
After crashing out of the WNBA semifinals this season, Kelsey Plum and the Aces had an extended holiday after appearing in the finals during the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Withdrawing from the inaugural season of the Urivaled league, Kelsey has a lot of time to herself and has engaged in off-field activities, including her business.
Launching a line of cigars called the ‘Kelsey Plum Signature Toro’ in May 2024, the point guard has been working hard to ensure her brand finds success this off-season. In an Instagram post on Friday, Plum shared huge news that showed her business is slowly but surely picking up its pace.
The WNBA star shared that the Resorts World Hilton Hotel had agreed to sell her cigars in their lounge, which the guard called a “full circle moment.” On her social media, she shared:
“My cigar, now sold in lounges. If you would have told me that a couple years ago when I smoked my first cigar in this same lounge, I would have laughed. Your life can look a lot different in a short time….in the best way. Won’t HE do it.”
Kelsey Plum is breaking the barriers not only on the court but also with her off-field endeavors.
