Geoffrey S. Mearns, president of Ball State University, shared his thoughts on the lecture on the institution’s website:

“David Letterman is our University’s most famous graduate. He is a native Hoosier and a national icon, and Caitlin Clark has quickly become a beloved Hoosier and national star. I anticipate their conversation will be very special. On behalf of Ball State, we are honored to host them.”

Letterman established the professional lecture and workshop program to bring in the top leaders in media to his alma mater. Famous names such as Oprah Winfrey, Biz Stone and Rachel Maddow have also been a part of this lecture and workshop.

Caitlin Clark is the next addition after making her debut in the WNBA in May. She achieved significant milestones in her rookie season including the Rookie of the Year honor and records for most 3-points, assists and points as a rookie.

She also helped the WNBA rise in popularity. Fans can stay tuned to Ball State University’s socials for further details on ticket sales.

Caitlin Clark names business venture she wants to own

Caitlin Clark is one of the most high-profile and most sought-after female basketball players in the world. It was reported that WNBA’s 3×3 rival league Unrivaled was ready to offer the Fever star a deal similar to soccer legend Lionel Messi.

In her appearance on Jada Gyamfi’s “Fresh Tawk” podcast on Tuesday, the Fever star revealed a business venture she wanted to own.

“Have you ever seen them put up that dream thing? It said like, ‘Play in the WNBA, get a scholarship’ and one said, ‘Own a restaurant.’ One day, I have to accomplish that,” Clark said.

Owning a restaurant is an easy task for the WNBA Rookie of the Year, especially after it was reported that she signed a $28 million, eight-year deal with sportswear giant Nike. Apart from that, Clark also has deals with Wilson, Gatorade, Bose and a few other companies.
