Jada Gyamfi reveals what she misses about Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin

After the 2022-23 season, Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin declared for the WNBA draft and both Hawkeyes got drafted. They both finished their rookie season in the WNBA and reunited with Jada Gyamfi and Gabbie Marshall on the Nov. 5 episode of Gyamfi’s “Fresh Tawk” podcast.

The Hawkeyes reunion saw the former teammates catch up with each other and talk about their lives and many other subjects. During one segment, Gyamfi revealed what she misses about Clark and Martin now that they were gone from the Hawkeyes:

“I miss having you guys to talk to,” Gyamfi said. “I miss your (Clark’s) intensity and all that stuff that makes practice fun because like, we need more of a competitive edge because we’re all so nice and you’re the opposite.” (7.40)

Clark responded positively to that revelation and asked Gyamfi to take that intensity and passion to practice the next morning. For Martin, Gyamfi said that she misses watching Martin’s face and making jokes during practice.
