The Taylor Swift effect” – WNBA fans in frenzy as Caitlin Clark proudly reps Chiefs after beating Raiders
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark reacted to the Kansas City Chiefs’ 19-17 dramatic win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Friday. The two AFC West clashed in the Black Friday duel that had everything, including costly mistakes that left the door open for Kansas City to take the victory.
After the game was over, Clark took to X (formerly Twitter) to pump up the win with a one-word message.
“CHIEFSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!” she tweeted.

Just like her, several fans were watching this hard-fought game and they quickly reacted to Caitlin Clark’s post. Some added Taylor Swift to the conversation and cheered for the artist and the WNBA star.
“THE TAYLOR SWIFT EFFECT,” one fan wrote.
“waiting for you to be cheering next to Taylor at a chiefs game one of these days 🥹,” another fan said.
“I do not know anything about football I have never watched a game but I am a ride or die taylor fan and also caitlin likes them so they must be the best team ever right,” another fan wrote.
Others pumped up her “connection” with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and even posted videos of how Clark would celebrate this win.
“CLARK AND MAHOMES OWNS THEIR LEAGUES 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” one fan said.
After blowing several field goal attempts, the Raiders had a final chance to overcome the Chiefs and win this game with another 3-point kick. While Aiden O’Connell was leading the potential game-winning drive and Daniel Carlson prepared to enter the field again, the Raiders’ center snapped the ball when nobody expected it, which resulted in a fumble recovered by the Chiefs.
They secured the win with 11 seconds on the clock to escape with the 19-17 win. This was the 14th one-possession game that they won, breaking the 2003-24 Patriots record.
Caitlin Clark had the exact same reaction when Chiefs beat Broncos
A couple of weeks ago, the Chiefs beat the Denver Broncos in similar fashion. They blocked a potential game-winning field goal attempt to survive the 16-14 game in the final seconds, sending everybody, Caitlin Clark included, into a frenzy.
“CHIEFSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” she tweeted on Nov. 10.
It appears as though when she’s not on the golf course, Caitlin Clark is watching football and she’s having a blast doing so. The Chiefs improved to 11-1, keeping up with the Detroit Lions, who similarly beat the Chicago Bears on Thursday.
The back-to-back champions have several celebrity fans and Clark is now included in that group.
