Shedeur Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes suffered a tough loss at the hands of the Nebraska Cornhuskers last Saturday, and it caused Sanders to make some comments about his offensive line.

Johnny Manziel thinks he’ll regret some of those comments.

Sanders continues to shine on the field. His dad is coaching him, and he has helped the 22-year-old signal caller become a top-10 prospect for the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, which will be held in Green Bay next off-season.

In the media interviews following the loss to Nebraska, Sanders showed some character concerns to NFL scouts and media reporters as he degraded his offensive line. The quarterbacks claimed they didn’t give him enough time in the pocket.

Johnny Manziel had some success in college, so his wealth of media experience may be valuable to the young quarterback. He talked about Sanders’ comments during an interview with Ben Mendelowitz.

Johnny Manziel Says He Would Never Do What Shedeur Sanders Did

During the interview, Manziel claimed he would never have done what the Buffalo’s signal caller did. “There’s a lot of blame in that throw that Shedeur made, that turned into a pick-six early in the game. That got things started for Nebraska,” Manziel told Mendelowitz.

He prefixed the comment by criticizing some of Sanders’ decision-making, “If I’m looking at that game, I know early on in the game, I know one thing you don’t do from a quarterback perspective is throw a hitch route, late and on the inside for a pick-six.”

For anyone who doesn’t know, Manziel’s career didn’t go as planned. He was out of the league after just two seasons. It may be a good idea for Shedeur Sanders to pay attention to what Manziel says about professionalism.

The Colorado Buffaloes are set to take on the Colorado State Rams on Saturday, and it’s going to be interesting to see what Sanders might say if the Buffaloes fall once again on game day!
