Former NFL quarterback Brett Favre responded on social media to a video of Mark Gastineau confronting him about taking a record-breaking sack.

ESPN released a clip of its 30 for 30 documentary “New York Sack Exchange,” which showed Mark Gastineau, one of the members of that famed “New York Sack Exchange,” confronting Favre.

Gastineau told him how upset he was about the sack he took at the end of the 2002 season. The sack allowed New York Giants pass rusher Michael Strahan to reach 22.5 sacks that season, breaking the NFL’s single-season sack record.

Brett Favre infamously gave himself up to Strahan.

Late Tuesday, he took to X to clarify what he called a “small dustup” with Gastineau over the sack.

Since Favre was in the mood to clear the air, former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens thought it was a good idea for him to keep sharing.

Owens jumped on X and quote-tweeted Favre’s post to ask him to clear the air on the alleged misappropriation of funds.

Brett Favre Sent Well Wishes To Randy Moss Amid Frightening Health Status

On Tuesday night, Larry Fitzgerald Jr. revealed that Randy Moss was dealing with liver cancer.

Moss’ son, former NFL tight end Thaddeus Moss, condemned the “disgusting” post.

Brett Favre also took to social media and stated, “Prayers to Randy Moss and his family.🙏.”

He added: “Randy is and will always be one of the all-time greats to ever run a route. Definitely on the NFL WR Mt. Rushmore.”

Thaddeus made it clear that was written wasn’t true as he wrote to Favre on X: “Brett, the support is appreciated, truly. This is not true. My father will address the world when he is ready to.”

Pro Football Hall of Famer and ESPN NFL analyst Randy Moss announced this past week that he would be stepping away from the network as he and his family battle “something internally.”

He has not spoken out about his ailment.
