Texas Longhorns fan Grant Walther is embracing his newfound fame after going viral during Saturday’s loss to Georgia.

Walther wasted no time becoming a meme following a camera catching him during a glum moment, given that Texas was down 30-15 with just three minutes left in the fourth quarter.

While the look on his face might have done the trick on its own, his unusual hairstyle has ensured he will be immortalized online.

The Texas student quickly became the butt of jokes online, yet he’s now looking to make the most of it.

“I want to be a lawyer — that’s my goal,” he told the Daily Mail. “I never had ‘internet meme’ as something that I wished to achieve. But I guess it’s here…it has been the most out-of-this-world experience.”

Walther also hopes to have his viral moment parlay into a charitable moment, even if it means lowering his lush head of hair.

“I know Matthew McConaughey was cutting players’ hair,” he added. “Maybe he can cut mine on the field and raise some money for cancer awareness. My grandmother just recently got diagnosed with breast cancer and then beat it. This is the perfect platform for me to advocate for the things I care most about.”

Grant found out he had gone viral while still at the game, with his friends sending him messages right away. He’s experienced a new wave of popularity since, with strangers now stopping him all over campus to say hi.

As for his hair, Grant claims it does what it wants.

“I have just naturally thick hair, I use 2-in-1 hair wash (and) I do absolutely nothing to my hair,” he said. “I wake up every morning and take my shower, wash my hair, and by midday, when it dries it just takes a mind of its own, and decides to look like this. There’s absolutely nothing I can do about it.”

Let’s see how far this goes… or grows.
