Travis Kelce spotted ‘celebrating’ as Patrick Mahomes gets intercepted by Falcons rival in Chiefs game in huge mistake
Kelce is having a horrid start to the 2024 NFL season
NFL fans have spotted an embarrassing moment by Travis Kelce during the Chiefs’ win over the Falcons.
Kansas City moved to 3-0 with their 22-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons, but fans were more focused on Kelce’s error during the game.

In the first quarter of the game, the Chiefs drove down to the Red Zone with a chance to score.
After snapping the ball, Patrick Mahomes looked toward the end zone and fired a pass towards tight end Noah Gray.
Kelce, who was a few yards away from Gray as the pass came in, turned around and pointed to the sky in celebration as he anticipated a touchdown pass.
However, the ball never made it to Gray’s hands, as Falcons safety Justin Simmons jumped the route and intercepted the ball.
Kelce turned around to face the end zone after the interception, and threw his hands out in disbelief after seeing that Gray didn’t have the ball.
The interception wasn’t too consequential toward the game’s result, as the Chiefs still won, but that didn’t stop fans from clowning Kelce for the awkward moment.
“This makes me unbelievably happy lol,” one fan said.
“Lol, he tried to pull a Curry,” another fan said.
“I cannot wait for the downfall,” a third fan said.
“So washed,” a fourth fan said.
“Lmaoo kelce such a clown,” a fifth fan said.
The awkward moment kind of sums up how Kelce’s season is going so far.
It has been a struggle for him to do anything right, only pulling in eight catches for 69 yards this season.
Kelce has yet to score a touchdown, with his best performance being a 34-yard day in Week 1.
He isn’t too worried about his individual stats though, and is more focused on the Chiefs winning games.
“I’ve had a lot of catches in this league, man,” Kelce said.
“I’m not worried about the catches and the yards, and all of that. I have the most fun when I get the ball thrown my way, I mean, who doesn’t?
“It has everything to do with execution and just making sure we’re doing everything we can to win these football games. That’s always going to be the goal.
“I think everyone saw my drop in the fourth quarter and the crucial third down, just trying to do too much before putting the ball away.”
The tight end’s struggles aren’t entirely his fault though. Mahomes is also off to one of the slower starts of his career, posting a career-low 219.7 yards per game.
The Chiefs quarterback has only thrown five touchdowns and has four interceptions to go with it.
Despite the struggles, the Chiefs are still 3-0 and on top of the NFL once again.
