Dylan Brack is an amateur golfer, set to make his PGA Tour debut at this week’s WWT Championship 2024. He made headlines in 2022 by winning the inaugural edition of Tiger Woods’ TGR Junior Invitational. The tournament was held at Pebble Beach, where Brack registered an easy win. He currently competes in mini-tours and local events.

Brack earned his spot at the 2024 WWT Championship through Monday qualifiers. He shot a round of 8-under 64 to top the leaderboard of the Monday qualifiers and will now compete in this PGA tournament, starting November 7. Along with Brack, three other golfers qualified through Monday qualifiers for the tournament, namely Ryan Gerard, Zach Bauchou, and William Moll.

Hailing from Riverside, California, Dylan Brack is half-Japanese and half-English. His great-grandfather Yutaka James Ihira was a golfer, and now Dylan is walking in his footsteps. He previously competed in the TGR Learning Lab Player Development Program, where he practiced his game for five years from the age of 7 to 12. He gained public attention after winning the TGR Junior Invitational in 2022.

Brack is active on social media and has 1,317 followers on his Instagram account. When he won the junior event hosted by Tiger Woods, the young budding golfer posted a collage of pictures to commemorate the moment. One picture was from when he first saw Woods playing golf and the other was of Brack receiving the trophy from the 15-time Major champion.

Sharing the picture on October 15, 2022, Brack wrote:

“One last big thanks to the 🐐 @tigerwoods for coming together with @pebblebeachresorts and @taylormadegolf to host the Inaugural TGR Jr Invitational!! I’m very honored to have been invited to compete and become an Inaugural Champion! Here’s a pic from the first time I saw Tiger play in 2011 at age 5, to today in 2022!”

Interestingly, Dylan Brack will be making his PGA Tour debut on a golf course designed by Tiger Woods. The 2024 WWT Championship is scheduled to take place at El Cardonal at Diamante Cabo San Lucas.

Will Tiger Woods also play at the WWT Championship 2024?

Tiger Woods is not playing at the 2024 WWT Championship. The American golfer has been away from the greens since his last outing at The Open Championship in July. He is most likely to return to competition at the Hero World Challenge later in December.

The tournament will feature a limited field of 20 players, and a few weeks ago, officials confirmed 17 names participating this year. However, Tiger Woods was not among them, though there is a chance he could join the field at the last moment.

In 2024, Woods only competed in five events, including the four Majors and the Genesis Invitational, from which he withdrew due to health issues. He struggled in the Majors and missed three cuts, only making the cut at The Masters, where he finished in 60th place after facing challenges with his game.

Fans will likely next see him playing in the Bahamas at the Hero World Challenge, or he may also return for the PNC Championship, a father-son duo challenge.
