Now that 9 weeks of NFL football have concluded. We can probably say that the Chiefs are well and truly on their way to another Super Bowl trip this season. Although it wasn’t a dominant day to their standards of football, the Chiefs have made it 8-0 so far. Beating the Bucs in overtime, the Chiefs didn’t miss their injured receivers a lot, thanks to one player.

DeAndre Hopkins, whom the Chiefs traded for just a conditional fifth-round pick that could become fourth-round if certain conditions are met. Bringing the 32-year-old from Tennessee is proving to be a masterstroke as he hauled in two TDs and eight catches for 86 yards. Seeing him rack up those numbers in just his second game for the Chiefs has called for an urgent plea from former NFL safety Ryan Clark.

GMs should get together and ban other teams from trading players to the Chiefs. Y’all tripping letting them get D Hop… Kelce is cooking now too? Wait until angry running azz Pacheco gets back! Lord!

While the other 31 franchises would have thought that the Chiefs losing Rashee Rice and Hollywood Brown for the season could have impacted their offense. However, adding D Hop to their offense with Patrick Mahomes at center is proving to be a cheat code, as he ran riot on Monday night. Within the first half itself, Hopkins had already caught four catches alongside a 35-yard bomb from Mahomes. Having caught that catch, Hopkins walked in for a one-yard TD in the second quarter.

Chiefs’ addition of Hopkins is ‘unfair advantage'”

Although he did score another 5-yard TD in the second half, his biggest contribution came in overtime. Grabbing onto a 15-yard pass from Mahomes, Hopkins helped set up Kareem Hunt’s game-winning TD on Monday. As Clark might have referred to, Hopkins’ addition to the Chiefs’ offense has helped Travis Kelce come back to his usual form. Over the past weeks, the Chiefs TE has caught 24 catches for 190 yards.

But Clark isn’t the only one who is seemingly worried about the Chiefs’ dominance with D Hop in their offense. Fans of the other 31 NFL franchises are equally concerned about Mahomes getting his hands upon DeAndre Hopkins.

Playing just his second game with Mahomes, Hopkins racked in his second-most receiving yards for the season (86). And he topped it off with his first game, scoring multiple TDs (2) against the Bucs. Seeing them connect so well on their second outing together, the fans are visibly scared of what’s in store in the future, “Hahahaha, the league let Mahomes get DeAndre Hopkins hahahaha.

Well, those reactions didn’t stop there as another referred to D Hop finding football heaven with Mahomes, “Deandre Hopkins remembers what it was like with the Titans. He is in football heaven with Patrick Mahomes.” While another fan was seemingly crying on his post seeing the Titans letting the Chiefs get Hopkins, “The league really let Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs get DeAndre Hopkins.” And to finish off those reactions, another fan gave a cheeky reference to Titans QB Will Levis, “De Andre Hopkins going from Will Levis and the Titans to Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.”
