Wendy Williams was all smiles when she was spotted outside of a Fort Lauderdale restaurant. This comes after it was reported that Wendy was “cognitively impaired”
Wendy Williams was seen for the first time since her latest health update.
The former talk show host was spotted in the back seat of her vehicle, which was parked outside a Fort Lauderdale, Florida restaurant, Sista Sara’s Shonuff Oysters. A video of the sighting was spotted on Instagram on Sunday, Dec. 15, which showed a happy and smiley Wendy who asked the person recording, “How you doing?”
She wore an olive green jacket over a black dress with her hair styled down and bangs covering her forehead. According to the video, Wendy ordered lobster and fried oysters, which they referred to as the “Wendy special.”
The caption of the story read: “#WendyWilliams spotted outside popular Fort Lauderdale restaurant, Sista Sara’s Shonuff Oysters with her nephew Travis Finnie. It was recently reported Wendy was ‘permanently incapacitated’ following her dementia diagnosis. She looks GOOD.”
Her recent spotting came as a shock to some after her legal guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, who is currently feuding with Lifetime over the documentary, Where is Wendy Williams?, allegedly claimed in court documents that the talk show host “has become cognitively impaired.”
In court documents from Sabrina’s attorneys Wendy, 60, was described as “an entertainer who, tragically, suffers from dementia and, as a result, has become cognitively impaired, permanently disabled, and legally incapacitated.” The Wendy Williams Show host was diagnosed with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia in 2023.
For those who watched the video, they did not notice anything wrong with the former talk show host sparking controversy. One person wrote: “She looks almost ready for her purple chair.” Another person wrote: “She doesn’t look or sound ‘permanently incapacitated’. Something is super off with this whole mess.” A third person commented: “She doesn’t look or sound permanently incapacitated that’s crazy to wish that on her that is heartbreaking for her fans.”
The filling also stated that the guardian’s legal team asked the court for specific sections of the case about Wendy’s “health, familial relationships, and finances” to be censored for her privacy.
