Who knew the Canadian singer’s daughter Vida had even heard of the rapper?
Ever since it was announced Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg would be joining The Voice season 26 as coaches, folks have witnessed the two singers develop quite the bromance. As it turns out, Snoop has developed another connection with Michael, and it stems from something Michael’s daughter Vida (whom he shares with wife Luisana Lopilato) does on the regular.
Michael was a guest on Late Night With Seth Meyers on September 24, where he talked about what it’s been like to work with Snoop, Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani on the NBC series. As he shared with host Seth Meyers, it turned out Vida was familiar with the rapper and was a fan of his for one interesting reason.
“Before I left for The Voice, [Vida] goes, ‘Papi, are you going to sing with Snoop?'” he said in a clip posted on TikTok. “I go, ‘What?’ And she goes, ‘Are you going to go work with Snoop Dogg?’ I said, ‘Yeah, honey. How do you know Snoop Dogg?’ … She goes, ‘Alexa, play Snoop Dogg Affirmations,’ and all of a sudden, this music comes on.”

“When I met Snoop the first time, you know, I want to be cool,” he added. “I said, ‘I got to show you my daughter.’ I showed it to him, and he was so cute … He goes, “Mike, Mike. You’re telling me in Vancouver that those kindergarteners listen to Uncle Snoop every day?’ I say, ‘Yeah,’ and he was so cute. He said, ‘You know, I made that for my grandkids and it was so important to reach in a positive way.’ What a sweetie pie!”
Upon hearing the touching story about Vida and Snoop, folks couldn’t stop commenting how much they loved the wholesomeness.
“Snoop done picked up another generation,” one person wrote in the comments. “How did Snoop become one of the most wholesome figures in the world?” another asked. “It’s Snoop’s world, we just live in it ✨,” a different viewer added.
We absolutely agree with the fans, and excuse us while we go play Snoop Dogg’s affirmations for ourselves …
