Cybill, 74, was seen running errands with her friend in Los Angeles yesterday, putting on a casual display in a salmon-coloured shirt and jeans.

Wrapping up in a black jacket, she wore aviator sunglasses and completed her look with black trainers.

The actress, who wore her blonde locks in a loose bun, was joined by a friend for the outing, who donned a green top and jeans.

Cybill placed a warm hand on his shoulder as they strolled through the city.

Her relaxed appearance was a far cry from the glamorous looks she sported on Moonlighting, but her elegant demeanor remains unchanged.

Cybill shot to fame in the 1980s as Maddie Hayes on the detective drama, where she starred alongside Bruce.

The pair were known for their witty dialogue and on-screen chemistry as they played two members of the Blue Moon Detective Agency.

However, in real life the duo had a tense relationship, with Cybill once admitting they “hated each other” while working together.

Despite their spats, she was devastated when Bruce was diagnosed with aphasia, telling fans she would “always love him”.

Cybill’s performance as the leading woman in Moonlighting earned her two Golden Globe Awards.

After the drama came to a close in 1989, the actress maintained a steady career in the entertainment industry.

She starred in her own sitcom named Cybill in the 90s, winning another Golden Globe.

Meanwhile, just this week, another eighties star was seen looking even younger than she did in her heyday.

Alison Doody burst into the limelight after coming to the attention of a casting director working on James Bond.

Her biggest role came when she was cast in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, starring alongside Harrison Ford in 1989.

Alison went on to replace Cybill as the face of L’Oréal in 1991.
