The Kansas City Chiefs suffered their first loss of the 2024 season on Sunday, as they were beaten 30-21 by the Buffalo Bills – a team whose fanbase Taylor Swift isn’t so keen on

Taylor Swift had already been annoyed by Buffalo Bills fans before her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, suffered a defeat with the Kansas City Chiefs against them.

The Chiefs experienced their first loss of the 2024 season on Sunday, with a stellar performance from Josh Allen securing a 30-21 win for the Bills in the NFL. Despite Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes scoring three touchdown completions, an intercepted pass intended for Kelce concluded the intense match between the AFC giants.

This marked the first time the Bills have beaten the Chiefs since October 2023, and many fans were thrilled to see the reigning Super Bowl champions lose their first game in 15 matches.

However, pop star Swift would not be too pleased, given that she had a less than pleasant experience with Bills’ fans at a game in January. The game in question was the Chiefs’ 27-24 victory over the Bills in January 2024, where fans saw Swift cheering on her new beau – and Travis’ brother Jason going shirtless and enjoying beers with supporters.

It was the AFC Divisional playoff game, which led to the Chiefs winning their second consecutive Super Bowl after defeating the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in February.

Adam Lefkoe, a friend of the Kelce family, revealed that the early-year tussle between the Bills and Chiefs wasn’t exactly a happy affair for the family, particularly Taylor Swift. Speaking to Kay Adams on the “Up and Adams” show, as reported by Sports Illustrated, Lefkoe said: “I have heard from people very close that it was not a great experience in Buffalo.

“It was not. For all parties involved. And I’m talking about the most famous of all the parties. I think that it kind of shocked the Kelce family and everyone related to the Kelce family the reception they got.

“I think they were kind of going in being like, ‘This is going to be an amazing game with good energy.’ And they got there and they experienced Bills Mafia in full form, in its complete ruthlessness. And I think they left and went, ‘I don’t know if I want to experience that again.'”

Swift missed out on the game Sunday, with her last glimpse of Kelce in action saw him snag eight receptions and a touchdown in a close 16-14 victory against the Denver Broncos during week 10. Instead, she was busy with her Eras Tour – running through Canada this fall – including a Saturday night performance at Toronto’s Rogers Centre.
