Taylor Swift avoids Patrick Mahomes’ wife at Chiefs game amid political tensions
The pop star and NFL WAG sit apart for the second week following their differing political endorsements

Taylor Swift attended another Kansas City Chiefs game this Sunday, but for the second week in a row, she and Brittany Mahomes were noticeably apart.
Swift, who has been dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, arrived at Arrowhead Stadium with her mom, brother, and singer Danielle Haim, but not alongside Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. While Swift has publicly supported Kamala Harris, Mahomes recently showed her support for Donald Trump by liking one of his social media posts, sparking speculation about a rift between the two.
Fans have been quick to note the pair’s recent separations at Chiefs games, further fueled by Trump’s social media attack on Swift. The former president, on his platform Truth Social, declared, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,” following her endorsement of Harris for the upcoming 2024 presidential race. Despite this, both Swift and Mahomes have reportedly agreed to “respect each other’s views” and avoid discussing politics, according to an inside source.
At the game, Swift was seen enjoying time with her family and close friends, donning a stylish Chiefs shirt, knee-high boots, and gold accessories. Meanwhile, Brittany Mahomes shared glimpses of her game-day experience through Instagram, spending time with her children, Sterling Skye and Lavon, but there was no interaction with Swift.
Despite the political divide, the two women were seen together earlier in the season, sharing warm moments at the US Open and even enjoying a night out in Kansas City. However, their recent game-day separations have stirred up online buzz, with some fans speculating about a potential fallout over their differing political stances.
Political differences strain Swift and Mahomes’ friendship
Though Swift’s presence continues to draw attention at Chiefs games, the question of whether political differences will affect her friendship with Mahomes remains. Both women appear to be prioritizing their personal lives and maintaining respect for each other’s opinions, at least for now.
For now, it seems the Swift-Mahomes dynamic will remain under the spotlight as both women navigate their high-profile relationships and public persons.
