With The Voice airing the season 26 finale last night, contestants Danny Joseph, Jeremy Beloate, Sydney Sterlace, Shye, and Sofronio Vasquez hoped to hear their name called.
Over the last few months, the contestants continuously proved themselves on the stage as they made it past each elimination. And finding their way into the finale, coaches Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, and Michael Bublé supported their singers each step of the way. But in the end, there could be only one winner and it went to Vasquez. Still processing his victory on The Voice, Vasquez explained what he wanted to buy with his cash prize.
For those who might not know, winning The Voice comes with a few perks. Each singer that won the competition walked away with a record deal with Universal Music Group. And while able to record an album is an amazing prize, the winner also walked away with $100,000. With a great deal of money on the line, Vasquez told Access Hollywood that he wanted to buy Bublé’s “CD.”

Leaving both Access Hollywood and Bublé laughing, it proved just how important Bublé was to helping Vasquez win The Voice. But even before the winner was announced, Bublé shared how much faith he had in Vasquez landing on his feet in the music industry.
Michael Bublé Promised Sofronio Vasquez “I Will Be There With You”
Recalling a conversation the pair had before the finale, Bublé explained, “I just called him and said, ‘My brother, God has a plan for you, and I don’t know if that plan is to win The Voice, but if it isn’t then there is a plan to do it another way. And I will be there with you man. I’ll be there, behind you, supporting you.’ And I’m glad that this was the choice the Lord made for him.”
Not only thrilled about Vasquez clinching a victory, Bublé noted the incredible strength the singer possessed throughout their entire competition. “I think if people understood the strength that you have and the fact that through all of this adversity, you walk out here on a night like tonight, when it probably matters more than anything has in your whole life career-wise. You walk out here in the moment and you take the brass ring and I’m just so happy for you.”
