Simone Biles attended her first-ever WNBA game on Wednesday, Aug. 28, and naturally, it just had to be Caitlin Clark who featured in the 11-time Olympic medalist’s first live experience.

Thankfully, Clark and the Indiana Fever delivered. They took down the Connecticut Sun in what turned out to be a hard-fought encounter between two unrelenting sides. In the end, Indiana secured a huge win, 84-80, defeating the second-seeded Sun, who have now fallen to 22-8 on the season.

Indiana, on the other hand, improved to 15-16 and is now just one game behind the Phoenix Mercury for the No. 6 spot in the WNBA. Only eight teams in the league qualify for the postseason.

For her part, Clark turned in another incredible performance, logging 19 points, five rebounds, five assists, a steal, a block and three triples on the evening.

Biles clearly enjoyed the show, and she was impressed with what she saw from the Fever’s rookie sensation. So much so that the greatest American gymnast of all time issued a strong declaration on Clark via IG.

In case you missed it, Biles tagged Clark in the video while adding four goat emojis under the rookie’s name.

Biles witnessed greatness unfold right before her eyes on Wednesday night. Clark broke the all-time record for the most triples made by a rookie in the history of the WNBA.

This is just one of multiple records Caitlin has already shattered in her debut campaign, and it’s not hard to see why even Simone Biles, GOAT herself, considers Clark to be the GOAT.
