USA Gymnastics star Simone Biles couldn’t help but reflect on her Olympic journey after she returned to Minnesota for her Gold Over America Tour.

Going back to Minnesota where the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials were held had Biles feeling “bittersweet,” as it reminded her of everything that happened before and after the Olympics in Paris.

Biles also stayed in the same hotel that she used during the trials, which gave her “so much déjà vu.”

“Last night I stayed in the same hotel we stayed at when we competed at Olympic Trials…..” Biles wrote on her Instagram Stories along with a photo of her sitting on her hotel bed.

“Walking in I had so much déjà vu. What good memories. Bittersweet.”

Simone Biles secured her third trip to the Olympics after dominating the US Olympic Trials held at the Target Center in Minneapolis last June. Biles recorded a final score of 117.225 to secure the top spot and a place in the US Olympic team.

As fans would know, the 27-year-old gymnast went on to win three gold medals and one silver in the Paris Summer Games. Having said that, it’s not a surprise why Biles is filled with fond memories of Minneapolis, where she got her 2024 Olympics run started.
