Miranda Lambert is ready to start a family with husband Brendan McLoughlin, report says
Country superstar Miranda Lambert is reportedly ready to start a family with her husband, former Staten Islander Brendan McLoughlin, according to recent reports.
InTouch reports that Lambert, 40, is cutting back on drinking alcohol as she’s yearning to have a baby, sources exclusively told the magazine.
Lambert is married to McLoughlin, 32, a former NYPD officer. A source told InTouch that Lambert “really wants to be a mom,” but that “some favorite pastimes have got to go and that’s the problem.”
Lambert was previously married to musician Blake Shelton from 2011 to 2015. The pair divorced without having any children.
“She definitely wants to go ahead and start a family with Brendan, ideally biologically, but she’s willing to go the surrogate route also,” an insider told InTouch.
In September, McLoughlin was recognized as one of Nashville’s most beautiful people.
“Nashville Lifestyles” magazine published their list of 25 beautiful people for 2024 — on the 25th anniversary of the much-anticipated list — and McLoughlin earned a spot among them, according to Taste of Country.
Lambert and McLoughlin started dating in November 2018 after meeting on the set of “Good Morning America,” when Lambert — a three-time Grammy winner, with 27 career Grammy nominations — was there to perform and McLoughlin was on security detail.
In September, Lambert spilled on life with McLoughlin, including “patio” dates featuring ‘90s rock music in an interview with US.
In her interview with the news outlet, Lambert said: “I’m lucky. I reached a lot of my goals early, and then you’re like, ‘What do I chase now?’
“It takes a while to figure out the balance of actually living your life so you have something to write about and constantly being on the grind. And I think I finally found that balance pretty good.”
The couple currently lives on a 400-acre farm outside Nashville where they spend their time caring for their animals. Lambert is a staunch animal advocate, especially with her nonprofit, MuttNation Foundation.
