A stadium employee at GEHA Field took one for the home team while trying to break up a fight at Arrowhead Stadium during the Chiefs’ win over the Broncos on Sunday.
In a fan-captured video from the upper bowl, a male Broncos fan landed two punches in the face of a male employee, who wore a yellow shirt.
At the time, the stadium worker was trying to break up a fight between another Broncos fan, who was wearing a Patrick Surtain II jersey, and a Chiefs fan when their fight spilled into multiple rows.
The stadium employee fell to the ground while the man who punched him appeared to fall on top of him.
That’s when Chiefs fans intervened and eventually helped the security guard to his feet.

It is unknown if the stadium employee or anyone else involved was seriously injured.
It is also unclear if the stadium or police will take further action.
The Broncos went on to suffer a last-minute loss to the reigning champion Chiefs at Arrowhead.
The Chiefs improved to 9-0 after linebacker Leo Chenal blocked a 35-yard field goal attempt by Broncos kicker Wil Lutz on the final play of the game.
Kansas City is the NFL’s last undefeated team of the 2024 season.
The Chiefs face the Bills (8-2) in Buffalo, while the Broncos (5-5) host the Falcons (6-4) in Denver on Sunday.
