Rumored Feud Between Carrie Underwood And Hilary Duff Resurfaces Amid Inauguration Drama - Threads postThreads

A post from the user ‘jaystep’ on Threads called back to when the two stars chose to not interact at a hockey game. “remember when hilary duff refused to sit with or acknowledge/interact with carrie underwood when their men both played for the same hockey team and there were unaddressed rumors for months that they hated each other,” the post wrote.

“hilary always stays winning,” they ended the post. They paired the caption with an old photo of Duff and Underwood sitting in separate rows. Even though both their partners were on the same hockey team, it is unusual that they ignored each other.

It was Duff’s previous husband Mike Comrie and Carrie’s husband Mike Fisher who played for the Ottawa Senators. They only briefly played on the same team between 2006-2007 before Comrie went with the New York Islanders.

The online post has garnered over 72,000 likes and nearly 10,000 comments. While some are confused and behind on all the hate toward Underwood, the majority of comments are angry at the American Idol winner.

“Carrie Underwood can go f**k herself,” one user wrote. Another mentioned how shocked they were that people were surprised Underwood “is a trumper.”

Since the announcement, Underwood has doubled down on her decision to sing at the President-elect’s inauguration. Due to this, it’s no surprise fans have continued to speak up against the singer.

Fans haven’t been the only ones to blast Underwood for this announcement. The ladies on The View have now ridiculed Underwood for this decision. Meanwhile, other artists performing at the inauguration like Village People have come forward backing their decision.

The music group, best known for Y.M.C.A, said they weren’t performing in support of Trump. Instead, it’s in hopes of bringing “the country together after a tumultuous and divided campaign where our preferred candidate lost.”
