Reba McEntire is sharing a shocking detail about her friendship with Dolly Parton.

For decades, Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton have been country royalty. Reba counts three Grammys while Dolly has eleven. Along with that, they are both actresses who have kept generations entertained. Dolly is known for her roles in 9 to 5 and Steel Magnolias whereas Reba had a sitcom named after her. Most recently, she launched Happy’s Place which has been a smash hit for NBC, and is a coach on The Voice. They are just genuinely happy and joyous women who have fans all over the world. It only makes sense that they are good friends. Additionally, they are in very happy and successful relationships.

Reba has found love with actor Rex Linn after two failed marriages, one that lasted 9 years and the other that lasted 26. They had been friends for a very long time and then reconnected on the set of Young Sheldon. He co-stars on Happy’s Place with Reba as the cook, Emmett. Dolly has been happily married to Carl Dean for nearly sixty years. The secret to their marriage is that he never walks red carpets though he did once and that was enough. Recently, Reba was on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM radio show.

There, she was asked about her friendship with Dolly Parton. According to People, he wanted to know if Reba had tried Dolly’s food and she said she had never been invited over. Andy then asked Reba this:

Have you met Carl?

Reba quickly replied that she had not and asked Andy if he had. He said he had not but added: “people really do swear he exists.” Reba went on to say:

I saw something the other day. They were out camping, and she and Carl went back to where they got married.

Very Private Life

Dolly Parton admittedly has a very private life when it comes to her husband. He has been ill as of late so she slowed down her career in some ways. Yet, in others, it is on fire. She launched her own beauty line which has been a longtime dream. Furthermore, she and her sister just launched a cookbook and she has an album with her family coming out. So, Dolly is keeping busy while staying close to home. However, it is a bit strange that Reba McEntire is a good friend and has not even been invited over for a pie.
