Post Malone Brings Out “F—ing Legend” Blake Shelton for Surprise Duet During Milestone Nashville Show
Several years ago, Post Malone may have seemed like an unlikely country star. That was before the “Circles” rapper made his country debut, F-1 Trillion, which dropped in August. Bringing in some heavy-hitting collaborators, the album soared to the top of the Billboard 200.
Former Entertainer of the Year Blake Shelton has remained Malone’s steadfast champion throughout this transition. The pair went to the top of the charts together with “Pour Me a Drink,” the second single from F-1 Trillion. Recently, Posty directly expressed his gratitude for the “Boys Round Here” singer when he welcomed Shelton onstage during his first-ever show at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.

On Saturday (Oct. 19) Post Malone took the stage at Nissan Stadium for the highly-anticipated Nashville stop along his F-1 Trillion tour. Concertgoers speculated wildly about which special guests they might see, and the “I Had Some Help” singer quickly answered that question.
“Ladies and gentlemen, one of the sweetest men I’ve ever had the honor of knowing,” Malone said from the stage. “Make some noise for Blake f—ing Shelton.”
The Voice legend strode onstage to wild applause, pulling his duet partner into an embrace.
“Ladies and gentlemen, when I first came here, Blake Shelton did this song for me,” said Malone, 29. “He was the most amazing gentleman to me… Make some f—ing noise for this man.”
The pair then launched into a spirited rendition of “Pour Me a Drink.” As the performance neared its end, an awestruck Malone said his collaborator’s name.
“Yes, sir?” Shelton replied.
“You’re a f—ing legend, man,” Post Malone declared. Turning his attention to the crowd, he directed them to “make some f—ing noise!”
Blake Shelton Thinks His Buddy Will Stick Around
Despite Post Malone’s groundbreaking success, there are still those in the country music world who doubt his longevity. Blake Shelton has made it clear he’s not one of them.
“I feel like Post is probably here to stay,” the “Hillbilly Bone” singer said during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.
“The first time I got a chance to sit and talk to him just about country music, I was blown away, you know?” Shelton added.
