Mother of Chiefs QB gave ringing endorsement of Donald Trump before ‘Monday Night Football’

Patrick Mahomes’ mom Randi Martin caused a social-media firestorm Monday night when a video of her in a MAGA hat chanting “Make America Great Again” started circulating on social media.

Monday’s declaration by Mahomes’ mom is the latest political controversy to surround the Chiefs.

Martin and Mahomes’ wife Brittany have both been outspoken about their support of polarizing presidential candidate Donald Trump, which has caused quite the controversy in Kansas City as Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift has been outspoken about her support of Trump’s opposition Kamala Harris.

Swift endorsed Harris in an Instagram post back in September after stating she did her research and she knows who she’s voting for.

There was some rumored tension around that time between Swift and Brittany over their political differences, and now it appears fans think the same is true with Swift and Mahomes’ mom, and they’ve said as much on social media.

“[Expletive] yeahhhhhh suck it Swifties!! You picked the wrong team to fan girl over,” one fan wrote.

“I am guessing her and Taylor aren’t besties,” a second fan chimed in.
