Country music and dogs, the two go together like peas and carrots. Hence, it’s no surprise that country music superstar, Miranda Lambert’s premier philanthropic endeavor is her non-profit Muttnation. Founded in 2009, Lambert’s organization promotes dog adoption and provides financial support for shelters. Furthermore, recently, she also made a generous donation to Ella Langley’s non-profit pet foundation, Pawsitive Rescue Division.

Prior to the announcement of the donation, Langley and Lambert participated in the third annual Tractor Supply shopping day. During the event, the pair took to Nashville shelters to donate food, toys, and other necessities for the dogs in need. Regarding the event, Lambert stated in an Instagram post, “It’s our third annual big shop for the local shelters in Nashville. I brought a special friend who also loves rescue! Miss Ella Langley” and “We are sisters in country music and in dog loving.”

Subsequently, cameras followed the two as they gifted dogs toys and made shelter manager’s days. In all, the event was a scene out of a Hallmark movie, as it encompassed the generosity of the Christmas spirit. However, Lambert’s generosity did not stop with the dogs and shelters…

Miranda Lambert Surprises Miss Ella Langley

The most monumental moment of Miranda Lambert’s Tractor Supply shopping day is the surprise to her country counterpart, Ella Langley. The surprise was not only a gift to Langley and her foundation, but also a gift to dog lovers all across the country, as the donation will surely go on to save the lives of many furry friends.

“Y’all already know Ella Langley is a badass, and something that makes her even more badass is that she’s a founding board member of Pawsitive Rescue Division – a rescue group here in Tennessee,” stated Miranda Lambert. “They’re just getting their feet off the ground, so MuttNation surprised them with a $5,000 grant to help ’em keep growing,” Lambert concluded in her post.

Kudos to Miranda Lambert and Ella Langley for spreading the Christmas cheer and treating the needy dogs of Nashville, Tennessee. Let us hope some fellow musicians take a page out of their book in the near future.
