The recent split between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck has taken an unexpected turn, which is leaving the showbiz world shocked. Despite their attempt to maintain a cordial relationship for the sake of their children, Emme, Max, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel, the situation has now become chaotic. An insider recently revealed to InTouch Weekly that the former couple were seen having a heated argument during a family outing at the Beverly Hills Hotel. At one point, JLo was seen wiping tears while Ben appeared coldhearted. The source indicated that Jennifer has deep hatred towards Ben and she cannot forgive the Justice League star for the way he handled their marriage. Although Jennifer hoped to keep things positive, Ben avoids taking responsibility for their relationship’s failure.

The source said, “Jennifer would never make a scene in public, especially in front of their kids, but she has so much resentment. She’s made it plain she’ll never forgive Ben for being such a coldhearted jerk and giving up on the marriage in such a savage manner. She agreed to play nice and try to wrap things up without any fireworks. But the tension is palpable, especially when Ben rolls his eyes and refuses to accept any responsibility for the marriage’s failure.”

“Ben has made it crystal clear he’s not going back to JLo, and she’s fuming. They were bickering behind the scenes even before this recent meet-up, which went about as badly as everyone feared. The sooner the ink’s dry on the divorce papers, the better it’ll be for everyone,” added the insider.

Matt Damon, who has been friends with Ben Affleck since childhood, is also not pleased with how he has acted since Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce. According to a source, Matt described his behaviour as cruel and unnecessary. He understands that being with Jennifer may be challenging due to her fame, but he believes that she didn’t deserve to be treated poorly. Matt values good manners and believes that Ben has shown a “lack of empathy and class” throughout this situation. His wife, Luciana, feels the same way and they both are concerned with his actions.
