Jelly Roll Fans Divided After Wife Bunnie Xo Makes Controversial Holiday Request

Jelly Roll‘s wife Bunnie Xo is reigniting a decades-long debate with her latest video.

The Dumb Blonde podcast host took to TikTok with a post on Monday, Oct. 28, where she attempted to sway the country crooner’s mind on a particular desire of hers: Christmas decorating—in October.

In the clip, she sat on a couch leisurely dressed in a black hoodie with matching leggings while her hair was pulled up into a messy high bun.

Bunnie can be seen holding her phone up in front of her as she called her husband via FaceTime. “Hi baby, I was wondering if you think it’s too early to get a Christmas tree,” she asked as soon as he picked up the call, wasting no time at all.

“It’s not even Halloween! Yes, it’s too early. Goodbye!” the “Wild Ones” singer emphatically responded while seemingly chuckling in disbelief.

Disregarding his answer, the podcaster replied, “Okay, I’m gonna get one tomorrow. Love you, toodle-oo,” which was met with pushback from Jelly, who yelled, “No, no, no, no, no!” while still laughing. “We’ll talk about it later. I love you, bye,” he ended.

“I can’t believe he said no,” text over the video read, while she captioned the upload, “[it’s] never too early .”

The comical content only fueled the fire of fans’ opinions on the controversial topic, as several poured in, choosing a side on the matter.

“I stand with jelly roll,” one stated, while another agreed, “Yes Jelly Roll gets it.”

A third echoed that sentiment, exclaiming, “I’m gonna have to agree with Jelly!!”

On the other hand, others seemed to be totally on board with early decorating.

“I’m with Bunnie on this one ,” one social media chimed in, with another joking, “I heard ‘sure go ahead’ .”

“Never [too] early for Christmas decorations. I said what I said. lol,” wrote another fan of the winter holiday.

Meanwhile, several people suggested they meet somewhere in the middle: “hear me out…. decorate it for Halloween and then switch to Xmas. hope this helps .”
