Travis Kelce’s Ex Kayla Nicole Throws Shade at Taylor Swift, Chiefs WAGs

After making an appearance on Chicago Sky star Angel Reese’s “Unapologetically Angel” podcast weeks ago, Kayla Nicole is no stranger to drama involving her ex-boyfriend Travis Kelce and his current girlfriend Taylor Swift.

Among several comments she made, Nicole took some heavy criticism for insinuating that she and Kelce no longer speak because Swift won’t allow it.

And during a recent interview with Radar Online, Nicole also implied that Swift had taken her spot among the Chiefs WAGs and the group of close friends she once had in that inner circle is no longer existent because of Kelce and Swift’s romance.

“We are not as cool as we once were,” Nicole said of the group she described as once being “like family.”

Swift has become a regular at Arrowhead Stadium, and she’s been seen and photographed several time with other Chiefs WAGs including Brittany Mahomes and Chariah Gordon, the fiancée of Chiefs receiver Mecole Hardman.

Nicole and Kelce dated for five years, and in that time she grew quite close with the other wives and girlfriends of the other players. But since her and Kelce broke up in 2022, Nicole said those friends distanced themselves from her once Swift came into the picture.

In fact, Nicole hasn’t been seen publicly with Brittany in over a year, which may seem strange to some considering Nicole was a bridesmaid in Brittany’s wedding, and she often hung out with the Mahomes’ frequently during her relationship with Kelce, but she unfollowed her once she and Swift started becoming good friends.

Swift and Kelce have been together for over a year, and all signs point to the couple getting engaged once the NFL season is over, likely in early February.

The 14-time Grammy winner was on hand Sunday for Kansas City’s 16-14 win over the Denver Broncos in which Kelce made history by tying Chiefs legend Tony Gonzalez for the most touchdown catches in franchise history (76).
