New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw two interceptions in Sunday night’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but it was another pick that caught some viral attention on social media.

Rodgers struggled in the team’s 37-15 loss on Sunday as his team was shut out in the second half after going into halftime with a 15-13 lead. The loss was the fourth straight for the Jets, dropping them to 2-6 and three games behind the Buffalo Bills for the division lead.

Rodgers had his own embarrassing moment during the game, with the broadcast camera catching him as he appeared to pick his nose on the sideline. The clip showed Rodgers wiping his nose before bringing his fingers to his mouth.

“Jets season is going up in flames and Aaron Rodgers is on the sideline eating his boogers,” noted one viral post on X.

“Aaron Rodgers caught red handed,” shared the Barstool Sports account on X.

The viral clip led to some ridicule for Rodgers, with some fans taking aim at his past history with homeopathic medicine.

“It’s a natural immune booster,” one post read.

“alternative medicine,” shared another comment on X.

Even without the questionable incident, Rodgers was already taking plenty of heat on social media for his struggles on the field — especially after the addition of friend and former teammate Davante Adams. The Jets traded for the All-Pro wide receiver this week, but he made just three catches for 30 yards as his team lost to the Steelers for the second time in two weeks.
