One former celebrity couple that everyone is still talking about is Firerose and Billy Ray Cyrus. The two of them had a rollercoaster relationship that recently ended, and according to Firerose, it ended badly. Read on to find out what she claims happened.

Firerose Says Billy Ray Cyrus Abandoned Her

Firerose recently spoke out about her relationship with Billy Ray and revealed what allegedly happened the day it was clear that their marriage was over.

She explains that she went through a surgery as a result of a potential cancerous genetic mutation.

The two were still together at the time, but the day before her procedure, her husband was nowhere to be found. Apparently, he left the house and never gave her a heads up on when he’d be back.

“I was terrified and baffled, as he wasn’t answering any of my calls or texts and he knew I had to be at the hospital the next day,” she shared.

The singer went on to say that during the relationship he treated her poorly. She claims that he gave her the silent treatment and became overly protective of her.

Cyrus hasn’t responded to her comments just yet.

Their Controversial Relationship

Firerose was only 22 years old when she met her future husband. He was 48 at the time and the two became friends after working on Hannah Montana together.

It wasn’t until 2022, a few months after his divorce from Tish Cyrus, that he began seeing Firerose on a romantic level. It was four months into their public relationship that they became engaged and subsequently married.

Tying the knot seemed to bring the two closer, and they even began releasing duets together. However, their relationship quickly took a turn for the worst. They announced their separation after only a few months of marriage and eventually proceeded with a divorce.

In their divorce ruling, it was decided that Firerose wasn’t going to receive any monetary funds from the settlement. The court only entitled her to the rights of the songs they did together.

Fans Take Firerose’s Side

Billy Ray has been a well-known actor and singer for decades. That being said, when it comes to his split from Firerose, his fan’s aren’t beside him.

Based on all of the claims that his ex-wife is making against him, his fanbase has not only stopped supporting him but are now throwing him under the bus.
